“My Final Thoughts”

‘My Final Thoughts’ is a Biographical Short Film I wrote as part of a University assignment.

It is based on the life of Assia Wevill who was Ted Hughes’ mistress whilst he was married to Sylvia Plath, and it is suggested that the affair and Assia’s pregnancy were the reasons behind Sylvia’s suicide.

It’s a really interesting story, and there were a lot of changes creatively from script to screen; this was also due to a lot of restrictions that came during pre-production.

I do like this film as a first draft; but I would really love to film this again at a later date, and not as a monologue piece.
